Time: Wednesdays from 12:00 to 1:30 PM

Objectives: Review recipient selection criteria; Discuss Quality Improvement Activities; Present a multidisciplinary approach to patients? diagnoses, treatment and overall plan of care; Review and discuss patient treatment options with various members of the patients medical care team; Review new referrals to transplant clinic; Discuss patients who have completed MDT transplant evaluation for listing or schedule of live donor transplant; Review patient cases of current transplant patients in the hospital with MDT care planning,discharge planning, discussion of complications and treatment plan; Enhance skills by identifying and outlining various medical opportunities that advance and improve patient care; Increase doctors' familiarity and comfort with diverse treatments for transplant recipients; Provide current and continually updated information to physicians for the purpose of maintaining and expanding their cognitive and technical skills; Project common understanding among a broad range of specialties and enhance a positive group culture; Enhance patient care delivery and outcomes through quality improvement efforts.
